Drip, Drop, Blend with Watercolor Techniques
Step into the mesmerizing world of watercolor and discover the joy of painting with a medium that flows, blends, and surprises! Unlike acrylics or oils, watercolor dances across the paper, creating luminous layers and dreamy effects that can’t be fully controlled—but that’s part of the magic!
By the end of the session, participants will have completed four stunning 6 x 9 inch paintings, each showcasing their newfound skills and artistic voice.
Sunday, April 6th, 10 AM - 12 PM

Forest Finds and Creative Minds
In this engaging, hands-on workshop, young artists will create both 2D and 3D artwork using a variety of natural materials.
Participants will explore unique techniques such as tea painting and pressed flower sticker making while also experimenting with sculpture processes like assemblage, working with clay, and binding materials around a balloon mold.
Inspired by the textures, colors, and forms found in nature, children will learn how to work with natural and found materials in creative and intentional ways.
Sunday, April 20th, 10 AM - 12 PM

Mosaics: Bright Bits and Bold Designs
Participants will explore different approaches to arranging their mosaic elements, whether intuitively or with a more structured design, while considering the relationships between colors, shapes, textures, and patterns.
With access to a diverse selection of natural, manmade, and repurposed materials, children will make creative decisions about composition and design, developing their artistic eye and problem-solving skills. As they place and secure their pieces, they will practice fine motor coordination and spatial awareness while experimenting with visual balance and contrast.
