Adult Learn to Sew
Have you always wanted to learn how to use a sewing machine or don't remember what you learned as a kid? This class will give you a basic foundation in sewing so that you can feel confident to sew on your own (or with your kids) after the 3 week session is complete. You will learn the how to thread the machine and bobbin, pin patterns, cut fabric, and hand sew. You will be able to choose from a variety of quick and easy sewing projects to make and practice your new skills. 2 student minimum/ 4 student max

Tween/Teen Sew: ages 10+
Learn to sew and master your sewing skills! This class is for a variety of skilled sewers, from the beginner with no experience to students with some basic experience that would like to practice and develop their sewing skills further. Students will be expected to set up and use the sewing machines independently. They will be taught how to thread the machine, wind the bobbin, pin fabric and patterns, hand sew, cut and iron fabric. We will discuss and use a variety of fabrics and color selection. Students will create basic and fun sewing projects, appropriate for their skill level, while developing problem solving and critical thinking skills. This class will not only improve sewing abilities but boost self confidence as well. Tween/Teen Sew can be taken multiple times, as a variety of sewing projects will be available for students who have completed one session successfully. *If your child has a sewing machine that he/she uses at home, he/she is welcome to bring it to class with them. If he/she wants to learn how to use your machine at home he/she can bring it the last day of the session to practice on. 2 student minimum/ 6 student max.

Learn to Sew Together---Adult + Kid(s), 3rd grade + adult
Always wanted to learn how to use a sewing machine or refresh your skills? Join your child for a sewing class created for beginner sewers to learn together. You will be taught how to thread the machine, wind the bobbin, pin fabric and patterns, hand sew, cut and iron fabric. We will discuss and use a variety of fabrics and color selection. Students will create basic and fun sewing projects, appropriate for their skill level, while developing problem solving and critical thinking skills. This class will not only improve sewing abilities but boost self confidence as well. All tools and materials are provided, but feel free to bring your own sewing machine, fabric scissors, and/or fabrics. 2 student min/4 student max

Sew Cool! Pajama Pants Workshop: 3rd grade +
Sew a pair of Pajama pants or shorts! Make a cool, cozy pair of pajama pants or shorts to laze around the house in or wear to school on pajama day! Students will learn how to cut fabric from a pattern, sew and finish seams, make an elastic casing, and sew a hem. *Must have completed at least 1 session of Kids Sew (or basic sewing class) to sign up.
Wednesdays March 7-21
Sew Fun Workshop
*Must have completed at least 1 session of Tween/Teen or Kids Sew to sign up for a Sew Fun Workshop.
A sewing workshop for kids 3rd grade and up to practice and advance their skills. The goal will be to create a project from start to finish within one workshop, unless the student is signed up for more Sew Fun Workshops. Students are welcome to bring patterns, ideas and fabric to discuss with the instructor whether its possible to complete in the workshop (but not required). Students can also use the workshop as time to complete previously started sewing projects. 2 student min/6 students mx
