MALA BEAD WORKSHOPS with Jen Dacpano

Jen is a school psychologist, wife, mother of four and artisan of In Creative Bliss on Etsy, who truly believes that building creative community and spaces for people to create is her calling.
Adult + Child Intention Bracelet, ages 5+
In this class you will devote time to creating together. Each person will design 1 beaded bracelet, by stringing natural stone beads and 1 charm (optional) onto elastic cord. Your bracelets will become a cherished memento that will remind you both of your connection. After creating your bracelets, Jen will teach you a short and easy way to ground yourself in the moment as well as how to charge your bracelets with intentions and use them for taking deep breaths.

Join us in customizing your very own 108 mala bead necklace or 4 bracelets. There's something incredibly healing about creating among community and devoting time to making art that is beautiful, personal and wearable! You'll have access to a wide and colorful array of stone beads to design your necklace or bracelets. The word "mala" means "heavenly garland" or "necklace" and it is used as a tool for meditation or prayer and as a beautiful talisman. It is sacred and used for meditation and Attunement, and typically you speak the name of a deity, intention or affirmation while touching each bead. Over time the more you use it, the more powerful it becomes. And the more peaceful, aware and tuned in you become. 5 student minimum/20 student maximum
