If you choose artSPARK Creative Studio to celebrate a birthday, your child and their friends will have fun creating a unique art piece to take home. Birthdays are the most popular, but if you have another special occasion that could use some creative spark, contact us with your request and we will do our best to make it SPARKtacular! 

HOW TO RESERVE

We put a lot of work and planning into making your party a "SPARKtacular" one.  Keep in mind that we have a small space and cannot accommodate large groups. We pride ourselves in providing a small, intimate, creative party where kids are engaged in art making while celebrating someone special.

  • It is best to schedule your party at least 3-6 weeks in advance.

  • We can accommodate 20 total guests (adults + children) in the studio. The birthday child is included in these numbers. The total number of kids is dependent on the amount of adults present. Please stay within the child and adult limit and count any participating siblings in your number.  If you are inviting the whole class (more than 20) assuming that they will not all come, we are not the venue for you. Yes they will all come. Check out our offsite party option for hosting large parties.

  • Themes We do not accommodate your party themes into the art projects. Our parties are designed to meet the creative interests and skills of all the makers at the party. The best way to incorporate themes into our parties are with your paper goods, balloons and treats.

  • Parties for ages 6+ are DROP OFF ONLY The parents of the birthday child and immediate family may stay. Parents of guests may not stay. One parent of the birthday child is required to stay at the party at all times.

  • Parties for ages 3-5 We encourage families to drop off if the parent and child are comfortable with this.

  • Adults must stay with children under 3 at all times.

  • You can arrive 15 minutes before and stay 15 minutes after the party for your setup and clean up. It is important that you leave within 15 minutes so that the Instructors can clean up and prepare for the next offering. A $1 a minute fee will be charged for any time over the 15 minutes so we can pay our Instructors to work overtime.

  • Keep the treats simple No eating during the art making portion of the party. We allow 15 minutes at the end of the party for a celebration so there isn’t enough time for a meal or snacks to be served.

  • Gifts need to be opened at home There is not enough time in the schedule to open gifts during the party. We have a small table for you to put your treats, gifts and party favors on.

  • Party Favors If you are providing party favors for your guests, please plan to send them home with the kids and not open in the studio

  • No alcohol allowed

  • Ages 3-5 party option The Creation Stations party is the only party option for 3-5 year olds and the most popular choice for 5+ birthday parties too.

  • Dress for a mess. Weekends are so busy we cannot guarantee we will have smocks available.

  • Reserve You will pay the base fee to reserve and we will contact you the Wednesday before your party to confirm your total attendees and collect any additional fees based upon the number of guests participating.

  • Refunds Sorry but we do not provide refunds for guest cancellations or no shows.

  • Gratuity Cash gratuity is greatly appreciated for an exceptional experience.

$325 includes up to 8 makers + $20 for each additional maker

$325 includes up to 8 makers + $20 for each additional maker + $150 travel fee* + 20% gratuity.

  • We will arrive 30 minutes before the party to set up, facilitate 1 hr of making time and take 30 minutes to clean up.

  • Final party cost will vary

  • Please provide your own tables and smocks.

*Travel fee- $150 includes a 20 minute driving radius from artSPARK. $50 will be added to the travel fee for each additional 20 minutes of driving time from artSPARK. The travel fee includes the extra time needed to prep, pack up and transport materials to and from the venue.

  • Art supplies for all art projects

  • Art instruction by two experienced Instructors

  • Set up of art materials

  • Clean up of art materials

  • Help w/ serving food if needed


WHAT YOU NEED TO SUPPLY

  • Simple Treat. Cookies, doughnuts, cupcakes, cake are great options. No pizza or snacks.

  • Drinks (No alcohol permitted at children’s parties)

  • Plates, cups, utensils, napkins, serving ware

  • Candles (we have a lighter)

  • Invitations

  • Decorations are not necessary. If you would like to bring balloons that is ok, but if you would like to bring a large amount of decorations that require additional set up and clean up time, we may not be the venue for you. Call to discuss.


SAMPLE SPARK PARTY

  • 9:45 - 10:00     Guest of Honor and family arrives. Get settled into space setting up food table.

  • 10:00 - 10:15   Guests arrive and sensory play

  • 10:15 - 11:15   Group art making 

  • 11:15 - 11:30   Treats, celebration and photos

  • 11:30-11:45     Clean-up + Goodbyes


PAYMENT

The $325 (+ $150 offsite travel fee if applicable) to reserve your date and time is required at the time of reservation. We will email you the Wednesday before your party to confirm your total attendees and collect any additional fees based upon the number of guests participating. *Cash gratuity at the end of the party is greatly appreciated for an exceptional experience.  


CANCELLATION POLICY

  • These reservations are not eligible for a full refund. Please check your dates carefully.

  • If you need to cancel you must do so 21 days prior to the event and will incur $100 cancellation fee.

  • Cancellations less than 21 days prior are not eligible for a refund.

  • A reschedule or transfer to another participant will require a $25 transfer fee.

  • Please respect that it is hard to fill a party slot on short notice, and we cannot cancel last minute on our staff. If there is inclement weather or a last minute illness that affects your party reservation we will do our best to reschedule.
